Last week I celebrated my birthday, and it was a very busy week! It started with Christies auction house party sponsored by Maserati given by Sara Pritchard Head of First Open.
The following day Helly Nahmad gave a cocktail party at his gallery with guests like Leonardo DiCaprio, Vikram Chatwal and Lady Liliana Cavendish. After the gallery I ran to the Plaza Athénée, where Michele Rella was giving a dinner party for 160 people, with guests like Mario and Ramona Singer, Colin Cowie and Ivana Trump. Troy Curtis and his band kept the guests entertained.
The next day I went to a lunch given by Avenue magazine to celebrate their Charlotte Ronson cover at Crown restaurant. Among the guests were Charlotte Ronson and her mom Ann Dexter-Jones, Lauren Santo Domingo and Shoshanna Lonstein Gruss.
Thursday night Laura Steinberg gave a pre birthday dinner for me at her townhouse with guests like Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia, Nina Juno and Lady Liliana Cavendish.
Friday night my husband threw a birthday party for me! He closed off Brasserie Cognac so we could have a private dinner for 80 of our friends. Among the guests were Ivana Trump, Tommy Hilfiger, Colin Cowie and Denise Rich.
On Saturday we were invited by Mark Parker for the opening of the new Tao on 16th and 9 Ave. Samantha Ronson performed while guests sipped cocktails and nibbles on Tao snacks. Among the guests were Alicia Keys, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tyson Beckford, Naomi Campbell, Gerard Butler, Nicky Hilton, Todd English, James Dolan (owner of New York Knicks), Cameron Diaz and Benicio Del Toro.
On Monday Michelle Rella gave a lunch for 25 women at a private room in Serafina in honor of Denise Rich. Among the guests were Star Jones, singer Natalie Cole and Ivana Trump. Everybody shared stories and spoke about their love for Denise, so it was a beautiful, intimate and very sweet luncheon.
